About Cassie
Career Coach and Podcast Host
I should have known Career Coaching was the career for me.
Throughout college I was always editing my friends’ resumes, helping others write cover letters, and chatting about future career paths, internships, and job searches.
I loved connecting the dots and always found it easy to see how someone could leverage their education, skills, and experiences in connect with their interest and career goals.
How it started…
I was sitting in my undergraduate career center, talking with a career coach about my post-graduation plans when it clicked. Without hesitation, I interrupted the Career Coach I was meeting with to ask: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛?
I realized in that moment that I had always been the friend who was editing resumes, helping others with cover letters and loved figuring out the best and most strategic ways to job search.
With that realization, I completed my undergraduate degree and continued on to graduate school where I studied Higher Eduction and Student Affairs with a special focus on Career Development.
I started my career working in career centers at colleges and universities where I met with students one on one regarding their career paths, job searches, managed an academic internship programs, and worked with hundreds of employers.
